Allow MT Button to "Bump " thread when being added to "My Threads" queue
In a time before the "MT" button the only way to add a thread to "My Threads" queue was by commenting inside the thread. Often this would take the form of a simple "mt" comment indicating you were interested in following the thread for whatever reason. This also had the side effect of bumping the thread and bringing it back to the top of the board, thus bringing it to the attention of more users.
With the introduction of the MT button this has all but died on PT, with the exception of the occasional nod in the form of…
9 votesWe don’t fundamentally agree with this idea, as it breaks the paradigm of our forums and makes it more technically complicated (aka slower) to query the list of most recent conversations. We believe posts should be “bumped” only when new content is posted. Having them mysteriously move up without new content would be confusing. Preventing abuse would be hard. However, we’ll leave this suggestion open to see if it garners additional votes and comments.

[IDEA] Offer method of reading entire thread on a single page
Bring back "Print Threads" Button, or similar feature to allow easier reading of multi-page threads. In the old school PT layout, there was a Print Threads option available both directly from the main board and once you were viewing a single thread. It allowed for a very effective method of catching up a multi-paged thread with >30 post count. It would print out the entire thread in a single plain text page with simple format showing thread title, post authors, and post contents. Allowed for quick reading of 100+ post thread without having to go page by page. (could also…

[BUG] Limit on the number of results in the author field of a forum search prevent some users from being found
Currently, if you are searching for a user's forum threads or post and that user has a short username that is common in longer names, their name may not appear because the drop down that appears only shows a limited number of results. Can exact matches be moved to the top? Could all results be displayed and a vertical scroll bar added to the drop down?

[IDEA] Revert to old setlist input format
The new setlist update method is absolutely horrible. Instead of just being able to simply copy and paste a whole set from another source, I have to go in and individually type songs, and then select it with my mouse from a drop down list. It's far too time consuming, and in no way more convenient than the old format. I handle most of the updating on PT Umphrey's.
7 votesIt is our intent to reintroduce the setlist parsing step for easy copy and paste.

[IDEA] On threads page, make "last post" time stamp more descriptive as thread ages
i'd rather just have the date stamp back personally. especially on threads older than a few hours ago. the new way could be slightly useful the way it is for very recent posts, but not for older posts.
Proposed new format:
If posted to < 1 min ago, then display "now"
If posted to < 60 min ago, then display "27 min ago"
If posted to < 24 hours ago, then display "9:41 PM"
If posted to < 1 week ago, then display "Sun, 9:41 PM"
If posted to < 1 year ago, then display "Dec 2, 9:41 PM"

[IDEA] Allow for filtering of message board thread by original poster (or any user perhaps)
Often times the OP will be providing periodic updates to their thread or be telling a story in serial fashion. It would be nice to have a button I could push to view only the posts from OP instead of having to wade through 100s of posted that I'm not interested in to read the 20 that I am.

[IDEA] Add a "People Watching Thread: X" Notice on Threads
This little notice can let people know how many people are following a thread, and therefore the level of interest in the thread.
Anybody who is posting in the thread or has clicked "MT" will be counted.

[BUG] Cancelled / deleted shows remain in a user's "My Shows" list
For my stats on my profile it shows that i have 150 total shows but i really only have 148 total shows. This is because my Bisco stats show that i have 60 Bisco shows but i really only have 58. When i click the #60 it shows the 58 shows. The reason this happened was because there was originally two extra dates for stats from 10/5/12 Mann Music Center Philadelphia, PA that were posted for that day and i had all three of them added to my stats. Once it was corrected the two extra 10/5/12 Mann Music Center…
