Return to Forum Button on Phantasy Mail Page
After you link to the Phantasy Mail page to read or send an IM, there is no direct link back to where you came from; you need to either click back repeatedly or use your browsers back arrow drop down (same idea), or you need to click Bands, then the band you want, then the Forum button.
In any case, you need to click on or drill down three times. A return button would be nice, especially if it took you back to wherever you linked to the mail page from.

[IDEA] Offer set list searches by song
Get back to what this site was all about, Stats and set lists. Add better searching of set lists by being able to search on a few song and the database will return all shows with those songs (or combination of songs, depending on the search). Also, add a photo feature for songs (for either pictures of the stage set list or actual band or festival photos). being able to go back to songs in the 90s and look at photos or whatever would be a nice archive. [IDEA] Allow navigation to next and previous songs (alphabetically) when viewing the song page
(similar to how it is for shows!) so i dont have to click the back button to get to another song!!!

Add "My Threads" functionality to main forum page.
Add "My Threads" functionality to main forum page. Allow users to add a thread to "My Threads" without opening it, similar to the way they can ignore a thread by clicking the X next to the title.

Remove Thread Titles from URLs
Honestly. What value does having the thread title in the URL really bring? Search optimization? meta tag the title into page content if you insist that it will drive traffic to PT. But please remove the titles from the URL. It's silly.

Why did the "This Date in band History" feature get taken away. Played a huge role in helping me find a show to listen to that day, haha. I thought it was really cool!

On the member profile page, include the member's "first show" date next to the count of shows they've seen by each band in the "Shows by Band" table.

Increase max thread posts to above 499
The good threads always peak at 499 and the pt 2s are never as good. Maybe increase to 1000?

[Idea] In user profile, shows tab, load more shows automatically as user scrolls down
Replacing the view shows by band section under peoples profiles with a slider bar so that you can seamlessly scroll through the shows. Something instead of having to click "Show 20 more" several times which discourages people from even bothering. Many people on PT have been to 100+ shows. Even if you're interested in checking them out, sometimes it's just too much of a hassle.

Prominently display Tour Tournament scoring system on results page
When reviewing scores, it would be helpful to see how many points a One timer gets vs. Set 2 Wildcard.

Allow MT Button to "Bump " thread when being added to "My Threads" queue
In a time before the "MT" button the only way to add a thread to "My Threads" queue was by commenting inside the thread. Often this would take the form of a simple "mt" comment indicating you were interested in following the thread for whatever reason. This also had the side effect of bumping the thread and bringing it back to the top of the board, thus bringing it to the attention of more users.

9 votesWe don’t fundamentally agree with this idea, as it breaks the paradigm of our forums and makes it more technically complicated (aka slower) to query the list of most recent conversations. We believe posts should be “bumped” only when new content is posted. Having them mysteriously move up without new content would be confusing. Preventing abuse would be hard. However, we’ll leave this suggestion open to see if it garners additional votes and comments.

[IDEA] On threads page, make "last post" time stamp more descriptive as thread ages
i'd rather just have the date stamp back personally. especially on threads older than a few hours ago. the new way could be slightly useful the way it is for very recent posts, but not for older posts.
Proposed new format:
If posted to < 1 min ago, then display "now"
If posted to < 60 min ago, then display "27 min ago"
If posted to < 24 hours ago, then display "9:41 PM"
If posted to < 1 week ago, then display "Sun, 9:41 PM"
If posted to < 1 year ago, then display "Dec 2, 9:41 PM"

[IDEA] Add list of songs I have not heard to the "My Stats" feature
Provide a list within "My Stats" to show all songs from a given artist that I have not yet heard live.
