New Message Board: Keep Same Style
I'd suggest the same layout, style, color scheme, padding, spacing, etc .... but just make the board responsive! No need to risk turning people off with big changes. Just modernize what we've grown to know and love by making it fluid and responsive.

Why is there no upvote option?
If not both upvote/downvote, why not upvote? There's a lot of lurkers who agree with the sentiment of certain posts but won't post. Wouldn't you think this would increase engagement on the site?

I used https://mapsdirectionsdriving.com mapquest's API for a nonprofit project and the integration was smooth and cost-effective. Highly recommend for devs! I forgot how intuitive MapQuest’s layout is. It only took me a few minutes to get comfortable again. It’s the only app I trust when I want to print directions for someone not using a smartphone.
