Add/Edit a Show Form

Below is a screen capture of the Add a Show form on Phantasy Tour. Beneath the screen capture is an explanation of each field.

 

Tour


This field is optional, but important for certain Phantasy Tour features (stats, games, etc.). The field consists of a dropdown list of existing tours. If you are adding the first show for a given tour, you will need to add the tour using the "New" button that appears to the right of the dropdown list. For more information about Tour, see Add a Tour.



Date


This field is required. Select the date of the show from the calendar dropdown.



Time


This field is required. Select the time of the show from the time selector dropdown. Be sure to select the "AM" or "PM" hour as appropriate. Besides informing member's of the start time of the show, the time you enter here will be used to determine the cut off for Phantasy games (if Phantasy Games are enabled for your band).



Timezone


This field is required. Select the correct timezone of the show from the dropdown. Selecting the correct time zone is important for setting accurate registration cut off times for Phantasy games (if Phantasy Games are enabled for your band). If you are unsure of the time zone for a given city, a quick Google search should provide the answer.



Venue


This field is required. It is an auto-complete field, so you can begin typing the name or location of a venue and matching selections will be presented. If the venue you are seeking is not found, please try other variations in its name and location before adding a new venue. IMPORTANT: Do not use this field to enter or select a Festival Name; when applicable, the Festival Name should be provided in the Name field. If you are absoluely certain that the venue you are seeking is not already in the Phantasy Tour database, you may add it by clicking the "New" button that appears next to the Venue field. Note, the "New" button is only visible when the venue field is blank. See Add a Venue for more information about adding a new venue.



Name


This field is optional, but encouraged when applicable. This field is used to provide the name of the Event, such as DelFest 2016, Bonaroo 2018, Magnaball, etc.

Cancelled


This checkbox should be checked if the show is or was cancelled.

Sold Out


This checkbox should be checked if the show is or was sold out.

Ticket URL


This field is optional, but encouraged when a show has yet to take place. This field 

Opening Act(s)


This field is optional. It can be used to add the names of any bands that played before your band at this show. This field is not intended to list all other acts that appeared at a festival.

Headlining Act(s)


This field is optional. It can be used to add the names of any bands that played after your band at this show. This field is not intended to list all other acts that appeared at a festival.

Pre-Show Notes


This field is optional. Use this field for show notes that are only relevant prior to the show (e.g. "Ticket prices increase on november 12" or "Show is for ages 21 and over only"). These notes are not displayed after the show occurs.

Post-Show Notes


This field is optional. Use this field for show notes about the performance itself (e.g. "Warren Haynes on guitar for the entire show"). These notes are only displayed after the show occurs.
