After all, these are pubic performances. Specifically Phish. Those were hard tickets!

Presently, when a venue changes its name, it necessitates a new venue entry in order to maintain the venue name in old setlists. We’re looking into ways to link these entries.

Require: One account per user, users must link PT accounts to their Facebook, Twitter, google, yahoo, disqus, etc. accounts.
The PT Phish forum has been steadily going downhill over the past few years. This is largely, or entirely, due to the current rules and regulations on PT. Or at the very least, lack of enforcement of these rules are the reason why PT has gone downhill.
But there's an easy fix! Take steps that will actually produce results!
Users should get one account on PT and one account only. Allowing multiple accounts has allowed PT to become what it's become - and it's not good.

30 votesWe’re always open to suggestions for improving PT, but this is not a solution to the stated problem because people are capable of making multiple accounts with these other service providers.

[IDEA] Repeat the original post at the top of each page of a thread
Any time I enter a thread, I want to know what the OP was, no matter what page or how many posts have been entered into the thread. It'd be great if at the top of each page, the original post was always there. It won't add perfect context because threads go off on wild tangents, but I think it'd be a good idea.

[IDEA] Default all new accounts to 5 post overlap in their forum settings
nobody is seeing my hilarious posts at the bottom of the page.
seriously, new users have no idea this is an option, and it is far superior.

[IDEA] Add a link at the top of a thread page that jumps user to the "compose" box at the bottom
Please bring back the "Add to Thread" button at the top of threads that will bring you right to the input box. It's annoying to have to scroll all the way down to the bottom to post.

Do not archive anything.
Delete all threads/posts after 1 year.
91 votesMany old threads have valuable or historic content within them. Many users search the archives for old threads that they wish to relive or retrieve information for.

We are not likely to implement this policy because it encourages users to create multiple accounts and because there is no definitive way to prevent someone from seeing your content (they can do so by simply logging out).
